DeanSpeakup! #

Jon and I have decided to start an online forum to spark discussions about Howard Dean (the man, the myth, the Presidential candidate. This step seemed natural since he and I are so enthusiastic about Dean's politics and his campaign -- not to mention the fact that we're both huge geeks.

We've named the site DeanSpeakup!, and its pretty much in its infancy right now. At last count we had a whopping three (count 'em -- 3) members, including Jon and myself, but that ain't bad (in my opinion), since we only got the sight up and running today. Please feel free to drop by, and join in the discussion... and for those of you who are tired of hearing me talk politics all the time (*cough*), maybe you'll get lucky -- this site may be enough of an outlet for me, and keep me from bringing up my disgust with the Bush administration in everyday conversation.

Who am I? #

I am Ben Schumacher. I am 25 years old, and live in Denver, CO. I doubt anybody who’s reading this doesn’t already know most of that, but there you go. I am an employee of Jabber, Inc. and have been working there a little over two years. That’s the basics.

I am an avid Jabber user, and a big fan of Ruby. In my spare time I do all sorts of spare-time activities. Nothing much to talk about in that area.
